Expertise Summary
  Bill Bamka serves as a regional field and forage crop agent for southern New Jersey. His extension and research program has focused on field and forage crop production, agricultural marketing alternatives, and agricultural resource management. Specifically, his work on soybeans and pasture have resulted in improved production with fewer inputs and mitigated adverse impacts on the environment. He has demonstrated creativity and a solid understanding of market forces in the development of programming to train field crop producers to make better use of new and existing marketing options.

Impacts: 1. His work on soybeans and to a lesser extent corn has resulted in improved production with fewer inputs and reduced adverse environmental impacts. 2. Assist field and forage crop growers to improve marketing skills and increase awareness of crop alternatives and risk management strategies. 3. His work on equine pasture management has been enthusiastically received by equine audiences and has led to improved pasture productivity and environmental stewardship.
